5 Tips For Whiten Nails At Home

How To Whiten Nails At Home

1. Use A Whitening Toothpaste
You can also whiten yellow nails by scrubbing them using a whitening toothpaste (One we recommend is “Pearl Drops Whitening Fluoride Tooth Polish”).
It does a great job in helping to get rid of yellow stains, as well as brighten the look of your nails.

2. Using Denture Tablets For Whitening Nails
You can also use denture tablets for whitening and brightening badly stained nails.
Buy some denture tablets and then follow the instructions and dissolve the denture tablets into some water. Once this is done, soak your fingernails in the solution for a few minutes. You can then repeat this treatment for whitening your nails until they are whiter in color and become brighter looking.

3. Combining Hydrogen Peroxide & Baking Soda
It is also possible to treat yellow fingernails to whiten them by mixing one tablespoon ofhydrogen peroxide in with two and a half tablespoons of baking soda gradually until it forms a paste.
Next, using a cotton swab or cotton baby bud, gently push a small amount of paste both under the fingernail tips, and on top of every nail as well. The paste should be left on for around three minutes. Then, simply rinse off using warm water.

4. Making Your Own Whitening Paste Using Lemon Juice & Baking Powder
Finally, our last whitening tip. Make your own nail whitening paste using one tablespoon of lemon juice, and one tablespoon of baking powder. After you’ve mixed together, simply place a tiny dot of this homemade paste on the center of every fingernail.
Next, you should lightly buff your fingernails with a small buff. However be careful not overdo this process. Finally, rinse your hands and gently dry them.
You can then massage a nice nourishing hand cream onto your fingernails, and then when they are completely dry, you are free to put on one or two coats of nail polish as the finishing touch and have your nails look pretty again.
5. Try Lemons!
Lemons are not only good for bleaching your hair blond, but they are also great at brightening up and whitening yellow nails. The lemon juice is actually a natural astringent and aids greatly in stain removal from your hands.
To use them you simply slice open a lemon, and squeeze its juice into a small amount of warm water in a bowl. Then, allow your stained nails to soak in the lemon juice and water for a few minutes.
This is a natural nail whitening treatment and can be repeated as many times as necessary. Always wash your hands after using this treatment. Last but not least, follow it up by applying some hand lotion or moisturizing cream.
