6 Ways To Treat Skin Abrasion

1. Vitamin E
Foods that contain a large amount of vitamin E have antioxidant qualities, which is very beneficial for treating skin abrasion. Therefore, it is a good idea to include more foods containing vitamin E in your daily meals. Some outstanding examples are almonds or pea nuts… Vitamin E is also good for the removal of scar tissue and stretch marks,

2. Garlic
Being not only a dispensable herb to many dishes, garlic also has a “super power” of antibacterial and antifungal.
Directly put garlic slices on the open wound and keep it there for a while. You can repeat this 5 to 6 times a day.
Otherwise, you can use garlic oil which can be found in drug stores and super markets. Soak the gauze with 3 to 4 drops of garlic oil and cover the wound with it. Re-do this 2 to 3 times a day to gain the best result.
3. Vitamin C
Like Vitamin E, vitamin C is also one of the best vitamins with healing property amongst many other ones. It always comes as the first choice for any skin problems.
Vitamin C is called “number one” ingredient for immune system. Therefore, taking vitamin C supplements and eating red foods like tomato, carrot, watermelon, orange and strawberry are the greatest way to strengthen your disease resistance.
4. Petroleum Jelly
Another remedy to deal with skin abrasion is to use petroleum jelly which can be purchased in many cosmetic and drug stores. All you need to do is to cover the abrasion with a layer of petroleum jelly after cleansing it.
Petroleum jelly works effectively as a moisturizer which creates a favorable condition for your skin to recover itself.
5. Parsley
Parsley is the common herb mostly used in the kitchen. It has a great capability of promoting the production of new skin cells and reducing bad results of abrasion especially scars.
  • Pound a little parsley into a paste
  • Apply this paste on your skin and rinse it off after 20 minutes
  • Use this method twice a day
A simpler way is to increase the amount of parsley in your meals.
6. Witch hazel
Witch hazel is a great natural material for cleansing the wound. It has soothing property thanks to resin, procyanidin, and flavonoids.
Just pad a little witch hazel extract on the effected skin area and repeat this as many as you can.
